Friday May 10:
Functional Vinyasa Master Class: Challenge your body and mind with 90 minutes of movement magic led by Sarah “Shakti Bird” Bonsall. Shakti is known for her upliftingly intense asana practices. Students will explore stimulating transitions, wholistic functional movement and one-on-one coaching by Rāma throughout the session.

This master class is open to and accessible through all levels.

Saturday May 11:
Becoming Balance: level 1 inversion & arm balancing: Focusing on the fundamental components needed across a range of inversions and hand balances, Becoming Balance is designed to help you clean up your technique and gain access to deeper levels of physicality. Students will explore a mix of asana and exercises including mayurasana, classic crow progressions, headstand, handstand and beyond.

Appropriate for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

Intelligent Spine: Back-bending Workshop: The practice of yoga asana is largely designed around fine-tuning the functionality of the human spine. Back-bends, if performed improperly, are among the leading cause of injuries and personal stagnation within the modern yoga community. However, if performed properly, back-bending can bring profound physical, mental, emotional and energetic benefits.

In this session, we take a closer look at the effective development and manipulation of the human spine. Intelligent Spine is appropriate for all levels and very highly recommended. Notebooks welcome.

Sunday May 12:
Beyond Balance: handstand workshop: Building upon Becoming Balance principles, Beyond Balance takes a closer look at entries and variations of the straight handstand. Rāma & Shakti are known around the world for their impactful ability to share their insights into the world of hand balancing. Students will deepen their understanding of physical mastery and leave feeling comfortable with holding, or working towards the sought-after freestanding handstand.

Keys to Creating Yourself: the practice of meditation: Fanciful physical expressions gave him international recognition, but it is in this session that Rāma shares his personal secrets to creating ideal conditions.

Part talk, part practical, during this session participants will gain powerful tools which they can then choose to use in the creation of optimal external conditions. It is recommended to bring a meditation shawl and cushion if you have your own (if not a rolled yoga mat will do).

No prior meditation experience necessary.
